Back in Damascus

Back in Damascus after nearly a month away attending the mandatory course conducted for the Malaysian public servants. It was a break "away from the office" but not really a break in the actual sense because the course itself was mentally consuming with case studies, project papers and assignments aside from the normal lectures. It is winter in Damascus but the temperature was considered mild (pleasant with the sun around) as compared to last year (I was told). However, Damascus was rather quiet with the winter and perhaps due to long holidays. Took the opportunity to do marketing for household supplies.

  1. Public service! I dream of becoming a civil servant in Pakistan (the country I belong to). So can I get an overview of the nature of your job?

    Humble regards,

  1. TQ for the comments. I am in the diplomatic service of my country which is part and parcel of the civil service. It is an interesting vocation provided one has the commitment and interest to serve one's country. It has its up and down though.
